Who We Are Looking For – Position Requirements
- Must hold an Industrial Electrician’s License (valid in the Province of Ontario) and be capable of obtaining a Masters license
- 5-10 years commercial and industrial experience
- Well versed in standard computer applications
- Good technical knowledge of electricity
- Flexible working hours
- Read and understand of electrical schematics and blue prints
- Good Communication Skills (Read, Write & Speak English a must)
- Desire to grow your career & be a specialist in an emerging industry
Job Duties
After successful completion of our training program, your job duties will include:
- Connect and disconnect electrical monitoring equipment to live circuits with proper PPE
- Troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs to automatic and fixed capacitor banks
- Use various electrical test equipment e.g. voltmeters, ammeters, multi-meters and high speed power quality meters
- Some report writing with respect to monitoring of load and harmonic characteristics
- Limited installation of capacitor banks
- Be proficient in individual software programs for specialized monitoring equipment
- Daily travel to various sites in the Greater Toronto Area
