Who We Are Looking For – Position Requirements

  • Must hold an Industrial Electrician’s License (valid in the Province of Ontario) and be capable of obtaining a Masters license
  • 5-10 years commercial and industrial experience
  • Well versed in standard computer applications
  • Good technical knowledge of electricity
  • Flexible working hours
  • Read and understand of electrical schematics and blue prints
  • Good Communication Skills (Read, Write & Speak English a must)
  • Desire to grow your career & be a specialist in an emerging industry

Job Duties

After successful completion of our training program, your job duties will include:

  • Connect and disconnect electrical monitoring equipment to live circuits with proper PPE
  • Troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs to automatic and fixed capacitor banks
  • Use various electrical test equipment e.g. voltmeters, ammeters, multi-meters and high speed power quality meters
  • Some report writing with respect to monitoring of load and harmonic characteristics
  • Limited installation of capacitor banks
  • Be proficient in individual software programs for specialized monitoring equipment
  • Daily travel to various sites in the Greater Toronto Area
